As most of you know, Black Exodus was one of the first Galaxy Nexus themes and my aim was to get a Black/Dark experience whilst maintaining an excellent battery life. My inspiration was from Pele’s theme Black Android, I had the pleasure of porting this theme to the Galaxy S2 and knew the ins and outs of this theme so when I got a Galaxy Nexus I wanted to make an original theme and then Black Exodus was born. I updated the theme almost daily with more and more features with Inverted Apps.

Now the Theme Chooser has been ported to ICS (Thanks Arcee) I will be moving all my themes to the Theme Chooser. This is the pro version version on the Market.

Install Instructions:

-Once You’ve bought the app and its installed

-Go to Settings > Themes (This is for CM9 but similar on AOKP/Gummy)

-Click “Apply Anyway”

This theme tasted only AOKP and normally it should work with CM9 too. Do not complain if you are on a different rom!

I want to say thank you to everyone that helped me finish this theme and although some parts are still need some theming i’ll improve them with quick future updates here. :)

This is my very first theme so keep in mind that you may find some bugs or even some unthemed images but those are few. There is an Easter Egg in the theme (the clock widget has now a new more elegant look ;) ).

About the color of the theme i have to say that orange with dark gray is my favorite combination but i’ll do some other color variations in the future too (blue, white, green, red etc).

DIRECTIONS & INSTRUCTIONS


This is a theme (like a skin) for GO Launcher EX, it will not open on its own. You must install the free home screen app “GO Launcher EX” and apply it.


To apply theme:

Open GO LAUNCHER EX > Press Menu > Themes > Ultimate EYE-Phone PRO Theme > Apply


To change Wallpaper:

Press Menu > Wallpaper > Ultimate EYE-Phone PRO Wallpaper


To change Dock Bar:

Press Menu > Pref > Visual settings > Backgrounds > Dock Background > GO Theme BG


To change App Drawer background:

Press Menu > Pref > Visual settings > Backgrounds > App Drawer Background > GO Theme BG


To hide/show the status bar with a swipe:

Press Menu > Pref > Operation Settings > Glide up/down action > Show/Hide status bar


To create icon effects (as seen in screenshots):

First, set the scrolling to either horizontal or vertical (this changes which effects are available):

Press Menu > Pref > App Drawer settings > Scrolling orientation > Horizontal/Vertical


Then, choose an icon effect:

Press Menu > Pref > Effects settings > Horizontal scroll effect or Vertical scroll effect


To change font:

The first freehand drawn theme for Android 4.0 … was Freehand CirclesMod. This is my second, acommodating those who don’t want circular icons

This is for the Theme Chooser known from for example CM9 and AOKP – the Theme holds special customizations for AOKP.

But you *need* the Theme Chooser, otherwise this app will do nothing.

It’s intended for XHDPI devices, though it may also work on HDPI devices running CyanogenMod 9 or AOKP. I have had confirmation that it works and looks good on a Galaxy SII and a Galaxy Note, so that’s a good sign But I only have my Galaxy Nexus to test on.

== HOW TO INSTALL ==

This theme applies via the Theme Chooser.

1. Install this app.

2. Open Android Settings and select Themes.

3. Select the theme and press the “Apply” button.

- You *will* get a message saying “Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device’s screen size”. Don’t worry, it’s ok, just press “Apply anyway”.

- You *might* get an error stating that the theme “is improperly compiled”. If so, apply the “System” theme, reboot and apply my theme again. Works almost every time.

4. Reboot

Rebooting is important for all the images to apply properly.

As MattedBlues was a huge hit for the theme engine in CM7, we just had to port it to CM9. So far, it has taken a lot of work and was built from scratch.
