With Gmail, Facebook and Twitter notifications! This lightweight live wallpaper turns your home screen to a usable interactive wallpaper.

You get a new bubble each time you receive a sms/mms or miss a phone call If you have a picture attached to the number the picture will be attached to the bubble. Tap, pop, the bubble and the phone log or the sms conversation opens. You can also have a couple of empty bubbles floating around which you can pop for your own fun.

You can now also login to your gmail/facebook/twitter account and get notifications when a new event occurs. If you tap a gmail/facebook/twitter notification bubble and you have the official gmail/facebook/twitter app installed you will be redirected to the gmail/facebook/twitter app(if not you will go to the mobile www version of gmail/facebook/twitter).

To enable gmail/facebook/twitter notifications: go into Bubble -> settings -> accounts and select Gmail/Facebook/Twitter login/logout and log in with your account.


To choose the most desirable background, first set a background of your choice(an image/picture) and then select the bubble livewallpaper. The bubbles will then float around on your selected background. You can also set the color of the bubbles (blue, green, pink, yellow or random). And enable/disable a “pop sound” when you tap the bubbles.

The basic functionality should work on all devices with Android 3.0 or later, but some which are hardware-dependent such as pressure sensitivity might not.

Pamn IP Scanner (or PIPS) was formerly titled “Nmap for Android.” Fyodor, the inventor of Nmap, asked me to change the name and icon to reduce user confusion.


This app is simply a wrapper around a cross-compiled Nmap binary built for your Android phone.

_FAQ_

Q: I want to run Nmap myself from a terminal. Where are the binaries?

A: The binaries are (usually) saved in /data/data/http://ift.tt/1gRheev.


Q: Is this a GPL violation?

A: I’m not a lawyer, but I don’t think so. My sources are freely available and also licensed by the GPL. You are free to modify and redistribute my code provided you share those changes back, IAW the GPL. Free software is not always zero cost.


Q: Where is the source code?

A: Distributing source code along with Android applications is a bit impractical. Download the source code from http://ift.tt/1hKT3tk.


Q: Wait, you’re not Fyodor!

A: This is NOT an official release from http://nmap.org, this is simply a front-end that calls to a precompiled Nmap binary.


Q: Do I need root?

A: No! You can use this program with or without root, although there are a few advantages to having root. I’ve seen a few problems with -O for Operating System fingerprinting (this would happen on desktop Linux as well). Non-root users will usually need to use the –system-dns argument.


Q: What’s up with Atrix?

A: I don’t know why, but this program has never worked with the Motorola Atrix, despite extensive efforts toward compatibility.


Q: Is NSE supported?

A: No, NSE/LUA are not supported for now, but it’s definitely on the radar for a future revision. Some command-line arguments will not be available until then.


What’s New


This long-delayed update brings a handful of small bugfixes and two new major features:

1) The program no longer does any form of license verification.

2) A new feature at your Menu button will allow you to download support files (such as nmap-services) directly from SVN.
